Class Six is a rock n roll band. The four musicians have all played in previous bands before coming together and they have acquired the maturity, roadworthiness, and presence to be well worth the price of admission for just about any rock music fan.
Their original songs contain elements of numerous influences. They also perform an ever-evolving list of cover tunes that cover 40 years worth of some of the best rock and roll ever written. The combination of their cover and original music makes them a great live experience, one not to be missed.
As a new band, the road ahead for Class Six is wide open. One thing is certain, however. The band will continue to challenge themselves to write the best music possible, and perform it with all of the heart and passion that the fans of the Dirty Third and ATM have become accustomed to.
“This band is writing some very COOL music,” said Matt in November of 2004. “It’s not so produced, but still played with the precision and timing you’d expect from musicians the caliber of Jeremy, Curtis, and Ryan.”
The band also plans to get in the studio at some point, but no date has been set yet. “We’re going to play live as much as we can to get tighter as a band,” added Jeremy. “We are very excited to record, though, and since we all have plenty of studio experience and a passion for these songs we’ve got some very specific ideas about how we’d like the record to sound.”
